Apiwon Restaurant

Ngau Chap, Beef Ball, is my favourite breakfast. Ngau Chap literally translates from Chinese to cow mixed. One finds all sort of cow parts in a Ngau Chap meal, beef balls, cow intestine, cow tongue, even cow ligament is on offer. Ngau Chap is normally served in Soup (RM 5.50),or Kon Lau style (RM 6.50), noodles mixed with dark gravy sauce, yummy...

There are many Ngau Chap kopitiams in and outside of Kota Kinabalu City, indeed KK peoples are spoiled with choices. Located at the heart of Luyang area, some 3 km from Kota Kinabalu, Restaurant Apiwon, has good Ngau Chap to offer. With a more upscale interior, compare with other kopitiams, Apiwon offers a relax and clean environment. No doubt, many business men and women meet up for a good chat here.

The beef balls here are big and tasty. The Ngau Chap soup in Apiwon is also unique, if one likes simple and mild taste soup. Another Apiwon plus point is from 2pm to 6pm there is Ngau Chap served, not easy to find one at this hour in Kota Kinabalu. Apiwon also serves Fishball Seafood (RM 5.50 to RM 6.50),Tuna Porridge (RM 4.00), and Fishcake (RM 6.50).
