Salut Seafood and Gayang Seafood are good bet for some real nice seafood. While in Tuaran town must try the Tuaran noodle. There a shop beside the United Oversea Bank that sells great Soto (local beef noodle). D'Transit along the road to Tuaran also has good local food.

Most sightseeing is away from the city, so distance destinations are best going with tour agents, you can book with them when in KK or at your resort. Islands off KK and city tour can be easily done by yourself. Self drive is another option.
