Situated along Gaya Street, Stay-In Lodge is in an ideal location, where many of the Kota Kinabalu city facilities are within walking distance. These places include the bus station, both regional and local, Sabah Tourism Board Building, Jesselton Point, Waterfront KK, and Kota Kinabalu shopping centres. Staying in Gaya Street also gives guests easy access to the many Kopitiams operating along Gaya Street. Kedai Kopi Yee Fung is a good place to try out the tasty laksa noodle, a delicious local delight. At the night clubs and drinking holes (bars) are not too far from here. On every Sunday the Gaya Street Sunday Market is just on the street below.
With bed and boarding as low as RM 18 per night, Stay-In Lodge is a perfect choice for backpackers who like budget accommodation. The rooms at Stay-In Lodge are simple, clean and tidy. Guests can choose between air-conditional room or room with fan. All guests will have to use the common shower cubicles and toilets. Hot and cold water are available.
Stay-In Lodge has 4 levels, and each level has a common area with table and chairs that look out to the Atkinson Clock Tower. At the lobby on the 1st floor, guests are welcome to use the computers with free internet connection, and coffee and tea are free too. Laundry services is also available.
