The Ngau Chap soup preparation here is of Thai origin.

kon lau noodle

The usual “kon lau”/dry noodle or noodle in soup is available at the Thai Style Ngau Chap store. The noodle on soup is served together with tripe, tendens, beef balls and beef slices. For the kon lau noodle, the soup is served separately on a bowl with the tripe, beef balls and beef slices. This simple dish is actually very tasty especially the soup. Noted: the noodle can aslo be substituted with be-hoon and kuey Tiaw. The beef balls are big and meaty. This store is operated by a lady called Madam Poh. Prices start from RM 4.50. Available from 7am to 2 pm.
