Kiram's Village

Situated high on the Mesilou plain and lied just below the Kundasang golf course, Kiram's Village, with four nicely designed multi-level wooden cabins, offers comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay for anyone who wants to take advantage of the place. Step into the Kiram's Village compound one immediately notices the nice green gardens with some colourful flowers that are planted around the walkway to the cabins.

The front views of the cabins are the random houses of the Mesilou community, and if you look out further you'd be rewarded with the many farmlands down at the Kundasang valley, while the back of the cabins is decorated with rows of tall matured pine trees. Day time temperature is mild and relaxing from an average of 22°C, at night the temperature can drop quite a few degrees to as low as 13°C. Truly a great place to seek refuge from the hot equatorial climate of the other major cities of Sabah.

There are only six units available for rent at Kiram's Village. These rooms and cabins are named after vegetables like tomato, celery, cabbage and etc. The biggest cabin here is the split level cabin (Strawberry Cabin) which has beds for 7 persons and with extra mattresses the cabin can accommodate up to 12 persons. The split level cabin consists of a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, two bed rooms and two washrooms. Next is the Double storey cabin (Cabbage Cabin) which has a nice A frame design and can sleep up to 6 persons. The dining area, the kitchen and a bunk bed are located on the lower lever. A small staircase leads to the master bedroom with a king size bed on the upper level. On the same level a door opens to a small balcony where guests can enjoy a very nice view.

The semi-detached rooms (Chilli & Onion Room) and the semi-detached cabins (Celery & Tomato Cabin) are almost similar, the only difference is that the semi-detached cabins have a kitchen. Other standard setting for the semi-detached rooms and cabins are three beds in each cabin with television sets.  All rooms also have an attached bathroom. As the owner of Kiram's Village is Muslim, he requests guests not to bring dog and pork to the premises.
