Penang Prawn Noodle is originated from Penang, a northern state in West Malaysia. This dish is most probably created by the Hokkien Chinese in Penang, and today it is a very popularly dish in most of the big cities in Malayasia. The prawn noodle most important ingredient is its soup, it has to be sweet and strong with prawn taste. With that in mind not many kopitiams in Kota Kinabalu that sell prawn noodle did a good job with the soup. Only a few kopitiam has good quality prawn noodle soup, and one of these kopitiams is Wong Kee Restaurant. Located on Jalan Kolombong, Inanam, Wong Kee Restaurant prawn noodle is highly recommended. The boss has eight years of experience on preparing prawn noodle. What are the ingredients included in the prawn noodle? This Chinese New Year season Sushi King has its Prosperous Yee Sang Special available from the 10 th January until the 10 th February. Ingredients used to make the Prosperous Yee Sang are fresh salmon, fresh scallop, fresh vegetables and the crispy tenpura fritters. The big Prosperous Yee Sang Special platter can serve 4 - 6 persons and is priced at RM 38. The smaller single platter Prosperous Yee Sang is also available and it can be picked up on the revolving conveyor belt.

Located at the KK Waterfront, Port View Seafood Village is one of the best known up-scale seafood restaurants in the city, and some 60% of its customers are foreign tourists, and businessmen. Walk into the live seafood area, and one will be amazed at the four levels of cascading aquariums, which boast of fishes, prawnes, lobsters, crabs, clams and even live abalones. Most of these fishes are caught from the South China Sea, Sulu sea and the Celebes sea on the east coast of Sabah.
